Permanent Cosmetics

Permanent Cosmetic Makeup, also referred to as Micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, is a procedure of applying micro insertions of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. The most common applications involve the eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner. This procedure is also used for scar camouflage, cleft lips, areola/nipple restoration for breast reconstruction patients, and vitiligo.

Permanent Cosmetic procedures are the perfect solution for the busy and/or athletic woman, women with allergies to conventional makeup or those with trouble seeing to apply makeup.

Even though Permanent Cosmetics will fade over time (as true with regular tattoos), the procedure itself should be considered permanent. Touch-up applications are required every few years to maintain freshness of color.

There will be slight swelling and redness of the skin, which will quickly subside. You may resume regular activities immediately. You will want to avoid direct sun exposure to the treated area for a certain period of time. You will begin to see your final results in a 2 to 3 week period.
